Hunt the Trial

Killer Builds

โ€  Oppressive, tilting builds to make survivors regret the lobby โ€

๐Ÿ”ช The Slasher ยท Jason ๐Ÿชš The Cannibal ยท Bubba โš™๏ธ Any Killer

The Slasher Jason Voorhees ยท Chapter 40

๐Ÿ”ช Build 1 โ€” "Crystal Lake Says Goodnight"

The Slasher ยท diabolical / attrition

A relentless M1 stalker, so the diabolical path is attrition: bleed them dry, smother the gens, slam the gates in their faces.

PerkWhy it's diabolical
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance ArtistEvery scourge-hook detonates the most-progressed gen (~15โ€“20%) AND screams reveal who was on it. Free pressure + info every hook.
Pop Goes the Weasel ClownRight after the hook, stomp a gen for a huge instant chunk. Stacked with Pain Res, progress evaporates twice per hook.
Sloppy Butcher GeneralMangled + Haemorrhage โ€” heals take forever and regress, and blood trails make tracking trivial. Perfect for a machete killer.
No Way Out TricksterThe cruelty finale. When they finally power the gates, both exits lock with a screaming alarm โ€” time for one last lakeside execution.
Why it sings: Pain Res + Pop is a double-dip of gen loss on every single hook, Sloppy keeps survivors injured and trackable, and No Way Out turns the "escape" into a trap. Patient, grinding, demoralizing.
  • ๐Ÿฉธ Open with a proactive scourge-hook, then immediately Pop the nearest gen โ€” that double-dip is the engine.
  • ๐Ÿฉธ Never let injured survivors heal โ€” Sloppy + your presence means chasing the same wounded counselor over and over.
  • ๐Ÿฉธ Spread hooks so Pain Res keeps hitting fresh high-value gens.
  • ๐Ÿฉธ Save the tilt for the end โ€” by last-gen, No Way Out buys a final sweep.

Spicy variation: swap No Way Out โ†’ Hex: Devour Hope. Patrol away from hooks, let it cook to 3 stacks, then start one-shotting and mori-ing. Higher risk (cleansable), maximum tilt.

๐Ÿ’ The Slasher's Teachable Perks

Jason's own three perks โ€” now live in the Loadout Generator.

PerkEffect
Hex: Scared to DeathAfter hooking 3 different survivors, activates on a random totem. Breaking a pallet during a chase makes nearby survivors scream and suffer Hindered.
Silent ShadowBecome Undetectable for a short time after hooking a survivor; permanent Undetectable once the exit gates are powered.
RampageGain tokens by breaking pallets and breakable walls. When stunned or blinded, gain Haste per token for a short time.
Pairs naturally with a pallet-heavy, chase-forward style โ€” Rampage punishes the stuns survivors rely on, and Silent Shadow makes your post-hook approaches silent.

The Cannibal Bubba "Leatherface" Sawyer ยท Bubba Goes Where Bubba Pleases

๐Ÿชš Build 1 โ€” "Sunday Drive"

The Cannibal ยท anti-loop / mobility

The whole "Bubba goes where Bubba pleases" fantasy in one loadout: pallets and windows are suggestions, not obstacles. Rev the saw, eat the stun, and keep walking through their loop like it isn't there.

PerkWhy Bubba goes anywhere
Enduring HillbillyPallet stuns are 40% shorter. Tank the drop, barely flinch, and stay glued to them instead of resetting the chase.
Spirit Fury SpiritAfter breaking a few pallets, the next pallet they drop on you breaks itself. With Enduring you barely feel the stun before the loop is gone forever.
Bamboozle ClownFaster vaults + the window blocks behind you. Shuts down the pallet-then-window loops survivors use to kite a chainsaw killer.
Brutal Strength TrapperBreak pallets and breakable walls 20% faster. Every wall Bubba wants gone, goes โ€” and fast.
Why it sings: Enduring + Spirit Fury is the classic stun-eater core โ€” survivors throw the pallet, it vanishes, and you're still on top of them with a hot saw. Bamboozle deletes their backup window, Brutal opens the map. Loops simply stop existing.
  • ๐Ÿชš Don't respect pallets โ€” walk into the stun on purpose once Spirit Fury is stacked.
  • ๐Ÿชš Pre-rev going into a tile; even if they pre-drop, you eat it and keep the angle.
  • ๐Ÿชš Use Bamboozle to force survivors off windows and into the open where a sweep insta-downs.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Build 2 โ€” "Saw Family Cookout"

The Cannibal ยท insta-down snowball

Bubba's chainsaw downs the whole stack โ€” so the build is about finding the stack. Hook one, see the rest, drive over, and sweep two or three at once.

PerkRole in the snowball
Barbecue & Chilli CannibalHis own. The moment you hook, every survivor beyond 40m lights up. That's your next chainsaw target, served on a platter.
Infectious Fright PlagueWhen the saw drops someone, everyone in your terror radius screams and reveals. A chainsaw multi-down becomes a free read on the cluster โ€” keep sweeping.
Knock Out CannibalHis own. Slugged survivors are blinded, crawl slower, and their auras hide from teammates. The people you sawed down stay lost while you hook.
Agitation TrapperMove faster while carrying. Relocate the hook away from the slug pile (or straight to basement) so nobody gets a quick save.
Why it sings: BBQ finds the group, the chainsaw downs the group, Infectious tells you exactly who's still standing in the pile, and Knock Out makes the slugs un-rescuable while Agitation buys distance to hook. One good sweep can cascade into a 3- or 4-down.
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ After a hook, sprint toward the tightest BBQ aura cluster and pre-rev as you arrive.
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ If you down two with one sweep, read Infectious screams before you commit to picking up.
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Leave a slug, hook the other, and let Knock Out turn the trial into a scramble.

๐Ÿšช Build 3 โ€” "Bubba's Bouncer"

The Cannibal ยท anti-save / counterplay denial

A chainsaw killer's nightmare is the flashlight save, the item play, and the bodyblock wiggle. This build deletes all three โ€” Bubba goes where he pleases because nobody can stop the pickup.

PerkWhat it shuts down
Lightborn BlightImmune to flashlight blinds, period. No interrupted pickups, no saved sweeps โ€” and you see who wasted their battery trying.
Franklin's Demise CannibalHis own. Your hits knock items out of their hands; flashlights and medkits bleed charges on the ground. No tool, no save.
Mad Grit LegionWhile carrying, hitting a survivor pauses your wiggle and removes the swing cooldown. Bodyblockers and sabo squads get punished instead of rewarded.
Iron Grasp TrapperWiggle progresses far slower and struggle effects are weaker. The person you carry is going to the hook you chose.
Why it sings: Lightborn + Franklin's removes the flashlight game entirely, Mad Grit + Iron Grasp removes the bodyblock-and-wiggle game. Survivors are left with no counterplay to a chainsaw down โ€” exactly the reputation Bubba was built for.
  • ๐Ÿšช Pick up facing the would-be saver โ€” with Lightborn you can stare them down safely.
  • ๐Ÿšช Swing at bodyblockers mid-carry; Mad Grit means free hits and a frozen wiggle bar.
  • ๐Ÿšช Franklin's is strongest early โ€” strip their flashlights before they ever set up a save.

โ›“๏ธ The Cannibal's Teachable Perks

Bubba's own three perks โ€” staples that show up far beyond his own loadouts.

PerkEffect
Barbecue & ChilliAfter hooking a survivor, the auras of all other survivors more than 40m from the hook are revealed for a few seconds. The premier "find your next target" perk.
Knock OutSurvivors you down with a basic attack are afflicted with Blindness, crawl slower, and have their aura hidden from teammates beyond a range โ€” slugging insurance.
Franklin's DemiseYour basic attacks force survivors to drop their item; the item loses charges on the ground and its aura is revealed to you. Hard counter to flashlights and medkits.
Power note: The Chainsaw insta-downs and can sweep multiple survivors at once, but a bumped obstacle drops Bubba into a Tantrum (a long, vulnerable stun). The builds above lean into the saw's strengths โ€” multi-downs, mobility, anti-save โ€” while minimizing the moments where survivors can punish that Tantrum window.

Any Killer Universal oppression ยท works on the whole roster

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Hex Misery

For when you want survivors doing bones instead of gens โ€” a one-shot, totem-anxiety nightmare.

PerkRole
Hex: Devour Hope HagThe payoff โ€” Exposed one-shots and a mori at 3+ stacks. Patrol away from hooks to bank tokens.
Hex: Undying BlightProtects your hexes โ€” when one totem is cleansed, the hex jumps to another dull totem.
Hex: Ruin HagConstant gen regression while it lives. Combined with Undying it's a long, painful cleanse hunt.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance ArtistBackup pressure that isn't totem-dependent, so you still win if the hexes die early.
โš ๏ธ Diminishing-returns note: our Loadout Generator weights stacked Hexes down on purpose โ€” three Hexes is high-variance (lose the totems early and you're running 1โ€“2 perks). High reward, real risk. Bring a map offering with few totem spawns at your peril.

โš™๏ธ Standard Slowdown

The reliable, non-gimmick oppression package. Works on every killer in the roster.

PerkRole
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance ArtistPer-hook gen detonation + scream info.
Pop Goes the Weasel ClownBig targeted regression after every hook.
Deadlock CenobiteBlocks the most-progressed gen whenever one completes โ€” quiet, passive slowdown.
Corrupt Intervention PlagueBlocks the three farthest gens early, forcing survivors toward you for fast first pressure.
Why: No totems to lose, no setup required. Pain Res + Pop punish every hook, Corrupt buys the opening, Deadlock buys the close. Boring to face = exactly the point.
